Candice Staples
Manager, FaCT
As FaCT Manager for Charitable Ventures, Candice focuses on a private-public partnership dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect in Orange County through the support and administration of the FaCT Family Resource Center Network, including coordinating and managing the critical deliverables required to support the Network, including: Training and Technical Assistance, Marketing and Communication, Data Collection and Evaluation, Partner and Resource Development, and Administration and Operations.
Prior to her current position, Candice worked for the University of Maryland, Consortium on High Achievement and Success, and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. Candice has also been recognized for her research by the University of Maryland Graduate Research Interaction Day (GRID).
Candice holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hampton University, a graduate degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, and is completing her PhD in Higher Education, Student Affairs, and International Education Policy at the University of Maryland. She has a one-year-old daughter with her husband, Mark, and two dogs and enjoys hiking and binging various Netflix shows.
