Jennifer Medina
Director of Human Resources

As Director of Human Resources for Charitable Ventures, Jennifer focuses on leading all human resources functions and guiding organizational culture in order to support the practices of a high-performing organization, including serving as key advisor to managers on employee relations matters including legal and policy compliance. Key areas of responsibility include oversight and system planning for recruitment, onboarding, staff professional development, compensation/benefits/payroll management and policy/legal compliance. Jennifer is also responsible to establish partnerships with key leaders to create and maintain a respectful, diverse and energetic workplace culture.

Prior to her current position, Jennifer worked as a Human Resources Generalist for Silverado Senior Living, a national healthcare company specializing in memory care. Jennifer has nearly 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector working in a Human Resources capacity for organizations such as New Directions for Women and Goodwill of Orange County.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources, both from University of Massachusetts Global, formerly known as Brandman University. She has current certifications as a Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute and as a Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resources Management. She is an Orange County native and enjoys living near Old Towne Orange with her husband, son, daughter and dog.
