Jennifer Medina
Director of Administration

As Director of Administration for Charitable Ventures, Jennifer focuses on oversight of the human resources and operations divisions, including being responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership to and developing strategy for the human resources and operations teams. Within the Human Resources Division, this position serves as key advisor to managers on employee relations matters including legal and policy compliance.  Key human resources responsibilities include: (1) recruitment, (2) onboarding (3) staff professional development (4) compensation, benefits and payroll management (5) policy and legal compliance and (6) establish partnerships with key leaders to create and maintain a respectful, diverse, and energetic workplace culture. Within the Operations Division, this position oversees improvement of operational systems, processes, and policies. Key operations responsibilities include: (1) business reporting and workflows, (2) vendor/contract management, (3) oversight of facilities management and information technology.

Prior to her current position, Jennifer worked as a Human Resources Generalist for Silverado Senior Living, a national healthcare company specializing in memory care. Jennifer has 15 years of human resources experience within the nonprofit sector.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources both from University of Massachusetts Global, formerly Brandman University. She has current certifications as a Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute and as a Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resources Management.  She is an Orange County native and enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering her time with organizations and issues that impact the local community.
