Kaycee Cannon
Consultant, Grant Strategy and Support

As Consultant, Grant Strategy and Support for Charitable Ventures, Kaycee focuses on grant writing, including writing and editing full grant proposals and letters of intent that both accurately portray the heart and work that is being done by the agency and successfully secures funding for the work to continue.

Prior to her current position, Kaycee provided direct services to victims/survivors of human trafficking, developed trauma-informed program policies, and produced grant proposals for a victim service provider agency. Kaycee has also participated in international health and justice programs, outreach to individuals who are unhoused, and grant proposal writing for other local nonprofits.

Kaycee holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in International Health, with minors in Political Science and Global Justice, from California Baptist University, and a Master of Social Work also from CBU. She has a Certificate in Data Analysis from UC, Irvine Division of Continuing Education, and has completed various grant writing and fundraising technical assistance programs approved by GPA and CFRE. She has a German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix, and enjoys being in nature, going to the movies, and grocery shopping as her everyday self-care.
