Charitable Ventures Announces New Chief Operating Officer

Santa Ana, CA (September 1, 2022): Charitable Ventures, a full-service nonprofit incubator and social impact consulting agency, announces its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), Joe Ball.

With extensive experience in operations, finance, and quality management in both a for-profit technical manufacturing and nonprofit service environment, Joe brings valuable leadership to the Charitable Ventures executive team during a period of rapid growth. As COO, Joe will drive Charitable Ventures’ organizational vision and operational strategy and as well as ensuring effective recruiting.

Launched in 2007, Charitable Ventures is one of the most respected support systems for Orange County’s nonprofit sector, incubating numerous initiatives while continuing to help community leaders and aspiring changemakers tackle the most critical and emergent social issues. The addition of a COO will boost management and operational effectiveness for Charitable Ventures and ensure continued strategic growth and impact for the entire organization.

“Joe brings a wealth of experience to Charitable Ventures,” said President and CEO Anne Olin. “He has significant experience scaling organizations, in navigating complex environments, and operationalizing visions. We look forward to evolving Charitable Ventures with Joe in the COO seat.”

Prior to joining Charitable Ventures, Joe spent 20 years in the aerospace industry and 15 years in the nonprofit sector. Joe was previously an Executive Director for the Salvation Army in Southeast LA, where he managed transitional living facilities and emergency shelters for 11 years.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Management and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree from Pepperdine University.
