Charitable Ventures is grateful to the Samueli Foundation for its generous support of CivicMind Community, one of 10 collaborative projects selected for the Foundation’s inaugural OC+ Fund, a $5 million initiative created to invest in the technology, systems, expertise, and relationships that make meaningful nonprofit collaboration possible.
Led by Charitable Ventures in collaboration with CIELO, CivicMind Community is building shared back-office technology and providing hands-on support to help small and emerging nonprofits strengthen financial management, fundraising, compliance, and impact tracking.
This collaboration brings together complementary strengths: Charitable Ventures’ experience in nonprofit infrastructure and capacity building, and CIELO’s deep understanding of the needs of the communities it serves. As our first adopter, CIELO is helping to co-design and test the technology so that it is practical, accessible, and responsive to the realities of small and emerging organizations.
