Human Resources Specialist

JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Specialist will fulfill a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Specialist will carry out functional Human Resources tasks including recruitment, onboarding, training, workplace culture, payroll/benefits, legal compliance, and contract management. JOB SUMMARY: The Program Specialist, Contracts provides advisory services, program management, coordination, planning and technical support to the organization’s publicly funded sponsored projects. They will provide active contract and relationship management and maintain transparent and clear communications with sponsored project staff and public funding agencies. The Specialist will manage sponsored project contract requirements, as well as coordinate internal and external resources to drive project performance and manage risk.

As a critical component of CV’s efforts to establish a public contracts division, this position will help ensure the department is operating effectively and efficiently. This position requires the ability to understand complex financials/budget planning, contract management and general business administration. Multi-tasking, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude are a must in this fast-paced and rewarding position.

Senior Accountant, Payroll Specialist

JOB SUMMARY: The primary role of the Senior Accountant is to manage payroll activities for Charitable Ventures and the Sponsored Projects that include, but are not limited to: run payroll process, understand the cost allocation principles, budgets and grant compliance guidance, support of all aspects of day to day payroll activities as well as monthly and as needed reported for community projects assigned. Working closely with the Finance Manager, the Senior Accountant supports smooth financial operations and to prepare all financial components of the fiscal sponsorship platform. The Senior Accountant ensures that all income and expenses are recorded in compliance with State and Federal guidelines, laws, and regulations.

Specialist, Foundation Services

JOB SUMMARY: The Specialist, Foundation Services is an exciting opportunity to support a major equity and justice- focused national health foundation with operations support, ensuring that deadlines and deliverables are being met, scheduling, planning, and running meetings with internal and external partners to accomplish these deliverables, communicating frequently and regularly with the client and Charitable Ventures staff, and performing providing the client with direct consulting services in areas such as evaluation, planning, and communications.

In addition, the Specialist, Foundation Services provides expert services, including planning, logistics, operations, and evaluation, for other foundation partners within our Social Impact Consulting team. Working both collaboratively and independently under minimal supervision, the Specialist, Foundation Services may also delegate and assign work to coordinators or other staff members as appropriate.

As the AED, this team member will oversee all programmatic components of the organization, support revenue development and management, establish a culture of engagement and accountability, and help the Executive Director build out the Board and other community partnerships, and establish Project Kinship as a powerful advocate for criminal justice reform.
