How We Make An Impact

Charitable Ventures has been a tremendous support in helping us test out new ideas for how to best support our youth, formerly incarcerated, and immigrant communities in Orange County. Charitable Ventures experienced our growth with us, they supported us in creating Resilience OC when we came to them with the idea of merging our two grassroots groups RAIZ and Santa Ana Boys and Men of Color in 2016. Since then Resilience OC has become synonymous with youth and immigration organizing in Orange County, which would not have been possible without the support of Charitable Ventures who has taught us how to grow and develop in the nonprofit sector.

Charitable Ventures took a chance on Project Kinship. They have been instrumental in supporting our financial needs, HR growth and our strategic vision, so that we could focus on providing programs and services to the reentry population. Together we have grown into a thriving organization. Our partnership has brought us closer towards the vision of creating a world where hope lives and the cycle of despair ends!

Because of Charitable Ventures’ guidance and support, we have been able to provide an outdoor residential experience to over 15,000 students, many who have enjoyed their first connection between science and nature. Without their advice and tremendous support, this life changing opportunity would not have been possible. Thank you so much for helping us to make our vision a reality.

The Hispanic Education Endowment Fund has benefitted from Charitable Venture’s technical support and valuable education programs over the past three years. What is particularly helpful is the flexibility provided within this support system – a clear understanding that this is not a one-size fits all approach. The team takes the time to understand our vision, goals and challenges – and works with us to develop strategic solutions.

Without Charitable Ventures, Jewish Addiction Awareness Network (JAAN) would simply not exist. Charitable Ventures does much more than handle administrative needs. Their team deeply cares about helping each project blossom so they can fulfill their mission and vision. Charitable Ventures’ expertise in areas such as budget forecasting, marketing, fundraising, and vendor negotiations are invaluable to JAAN. And, they are always there to cheer our successes as well as encourage us when challenges arise. It’s like being part of a big family filled with people who want to improve the lives of others, each in their own unique way.
