As Chief Strategy Officer for Charitable Ventures, Melinda Konoske leads strategic direction, organizational development, and capacity building. She works across the organization to strengthen internal systems and structures and ensure that Charitable Ventures’ programs and partnerships are aligned with its mission and positioned for long-term impact. Melinda also works directly with community clients on systems-building, program strategy, and collaborative facilitation, bringing an integrated approach that connects organizational health to broader community outcomes across Southern California.
Melinda brings more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with expertise in early care and education, behavioral and mental health, and leadership development. As owner of MK Consulting Syndicate, Inc., she has built a career leading complex systems-change and organizational strategy work across Orange County. Her background spans direct service as a teacher and early interventionist, quality assurance and program leadership in a large statewide nonprofit, and senior advisory work with county agencies and community organizations. She is a facilitator of multiple systems-level collaboratives and has been active in regional planning bodies focused on early learning, family support, and children’s health.
Melinda holds a Master of Science in Child Development from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Jacksonville University. She is a Certified Trainer in the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework and trained in Collective Impact and Coaching methodologies.
